Dear League Officer,

      Included below is a basic overview of our golf league program for 2008. The fee for league golf is based on contracted tee times and is not structured solely on number of league players to determine league payment. The league payment will be based on a payment schedule for the contracted league obligation to the golf course. Golf leagues that contract for golf & cart for their league nine will receive 2 weeks of league play for free! For the majority of the golf & cart leagues at Brae Burn Golf Club this means the league plays for 20 weeks but only pays for 18 weeks, allowing leagues to cost average the fee to determine your true weekly cost. We made a change to our league tee time spacing in an attempt to keep the tee schedule and league pace as reasonable as possible. Our previous tee time spacing for league play was 7 & 8 minutes between times, we changed to 9 & 8 minutes between times. This change results in one less foursome per hour which should allow us to maintain an on time tee schedule as well as a league nine pace of play that both Brae Burn Golf Club and the golf leagues can be happy with. 

As an added incentive/thank you for returning or becoming a new league at Brae Burn Golf Club we will be giving each league member a FREE 18 hole pass, each month, to use in the months of April, May, June, July and August of 2008.
